A Grade II listed French-style chateau built in 1849 by Sir John Hay Williams, Baronet of Bodelwyddan, the hotel was a gift for his wife Lady Sarah and was inspired by the couple’s travels through the Loire region of France. Lady Sarah’s dedication for attention to detail has been carried through to the hotel today, each suite exquisite in French-inspired design and décor.
