Established in 2014, Sultan Drinks develops, manufactures and sells high quality beverages made from black seed and other unique natural ingredients. Pioneers in generating fusion drinks, their products combine the best of eastern ingredients with western technology. Founded by Imran Mehic, the company utilises millennia-old ingredients to develop a beverage perfectly suited for an urban demographic, open to exuberant cultural tastes. Based in Vienna, the existing drink range has already gained a tremendous international appeal with exports to more than 12 countries across five continents. Their future plans include establishing local filling plants in major export markets and launching a new drink made with black seed, lemon and lime, elderflower, Moroccan mint and Stevia.
The judges were impressed with Sultan Drinks’ dedication to using healthy, natural ingredients such as black seed. Scientifically known as nigella sativa, black seed is recognised among global cultures for its anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and wound healing properties. Used and valued for more than 2,000 years, it offers the drinks their special and distinctive flavour, making an unmistakable indulgence for all senses. The judges also admired the zesty yet luxurious packaging design of all Sultan Drinks products.
