THE CARDIFF & SOUTH WALES PRESTIGE AWARDS EVENT 2020

The Cardiff & South Wales Prestige Awards Event 2020 welcomed a number of the region’s best and most innovative companies to receive their well-deserved recognition. Successful small and medium-sized businesses that have displayed industry-leading qualities over the past 12 months submitted nominations with evidence of their work, positive client feedback, and highlighted the most outstanding parts of their business. Judged on their service excellence, quality of the product or service, innovation, value, ethical or sustainable working methods as well as consistency in performance, the winners were those who best demonstrate their strengths in these areas.

Courtesy of current COVID-19 restrictions, the event was switched from Cardiff to Bristol with the sun-baked Ashton Gate stadium, home of Bristol City and Bristol Bears playing host. Despite a slightly longer journey, the winners arrived in great spirits. From window cleaning services and insurance brokers to fitness companies and dog trainers, the South Wales’ best-of-the-best were in attendance.

In the morning, bespoke children’s photographers, Forrest and Fox, kombucha and nutrition specialists, NaturAlly Fed, civil and structural engineering company, Vale Consultancy and restaurant, Luna’s Vegan Corner got proceedings underway before representatives of Welsh pub of the year, Castle Inn Usk also arrived.

The lunchtime rush started in earnest with Cake Shop, Baked by Alexandra, luxury accommodation providers, Quay Apartments and skincare service, The Eczema Clinic attending to join in the celebrations of their success.

As the afternoon kicked in to gear, make-up guru, The Face Boss, design agency, Challenger Design, hairdressing salon, Capello Barbers, auto body shop, Ceejay Autoworx and multi-disciplinary clinic, Bronleigh House all enjoyed their moment in the spotlight.

With the sun setting on a great day, the final winning company to arrive, Pooch on a Pedestal did so in style. With their three energetic dogs in tow, they made it a paw-fect end to the event!
